Fayette Drywall, Inc. is a Dayton, Ohio-based commercial subcontractor providing comprehensive, turn-key construction services throughout Ohio and the surrounding region.
President John Fayette has been part of the construction industry since 1974, beginning his career working hands-on in the field. That practical experience became the foundation for Fayette Drywall, which he established in 1984. Since then, the company has grown from a drywall subcontractor into a multi-service commercial construction company with annual gross sales of approximately $8–$12 million.
Today, Fayette Drywall provides a broad range of turn-key services, including drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, acoustical ceilings, painting, EIFS, doors and hardware, fixtures, and engineered cold-formed metal framing (CFMF).
Commercial Construction Expertise
Fayette Drywall has extensive experience in commercial retail construction and interior build-outs, completing projects for major national retailers and businesses including TJ Maxx, Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, and others.
The company has also played an important role in several significant projects throughout the Dayton region.
One of Fayette Drywall’s most notable recent projects was the historic Dayton Arcade redevelopment, where the company remained involved for more than five years. Its work culminated with the engineering and construction of the cold-formed metal framing for the five-story addition and renovation associated with the Hilton Garden Inn on the north side of the Arcade.
Fayette Drywall is currently involved in the redevelopment of Centre City, the 21-story building located at the corner of Fourth and Main Streets in downtown Dayton.

From estimating and planning through construction and completion, our leadership team brings decades of combined industry experience to every project.
John Fayette
President
John Fayette has been in the construction industry since 1974 and founded Fayette Drywall in 1984. Beginning his career working hands-on with the tools, John built the company around practical field experience, quality workmanship, and strong relationships with contractors and clients. Under his leadership, Fayette Drywall has grown into a multi-million-dollar, turn-key commercial subcontractor capable of managing large and complex construction projects.
Nick Fayette
Vice President / Project Manager
Nick Fayette serves as Vice President and Project Manager, helping oversee Fayette Drywall’s day-to-day operations and commercial construction projects. He works closely with general contractors, field teams, vendors, and project partners to coordinate schedules, manage project requirements, and keep work progressing from preconstruction through completion.
Kent Davis
Senior Project Manager
As Senior Project Manager, Kent Davis joined Fayette Drywall with more than 32 years of experience in commercial construction, bringing extensive knowledge of project management, field operations, scheduling, and the demands of large-scale commercial projects.
After spending many years as a traveling project manager, Kent was ready to bring his experience closer to home. He reached out to Fayette Drywall President John Fayette, and the opportunity proved to be a great fit.
Today, Kent manages projects from planning through completion, working closely with general contractors, field personnel, vendors, and project partners to coordinate schedules, address project requirements, and keep work moving efficiently.
His decades of hands-on industry experience give Kent a practical understanding of what it takes to successfully manage a commercial construction project—from anticipating challenges in the field to keeping crews, schedules, and project expectations aligned.
Kent’s experience and commitment to getting the job done right make him an important part of the Fayette Drywall project management team.
Bobbie Golden
Office Manager
Bobbie Golden manages the administrative operations that keep Fayette Drywall running smoothly for the past 22 years. From coordinating office activities and project documentation to supporting management and field operations, Bobbie plays an important role in keeping communication, paperwork, and day-to-day business operations organized and efficient.
